Title: The Knots that Bind

Creator's Summary: Getting tied up was an occupational hazard, but this was knot how Romana expected her day to go...
Characters/Pairings: Fourth Doctor/Romana II, followed by Eighth Doctor/Romana II
Warnings/Notes: none
Reasons for reccing: For the "Accidental Marriage" square in my Reccers' Bingo. It's a cute and pretty fluffy story where some guards tie up the Doctor and Romana (as usual) but accidentally use a ceremonial knot used in Gallifreyan weddings. They decide it doesn't have to count... but then, on the other hand, it
could... Lots of very in-character banter and fun Gallifreyan worldbuilding.

Creator's Summary: The Doctor and Charley accidentally get married after a misunderstanding on an alien planet.
It doesn’t have to mean anything. Not unless they want it to.
Characters/Pairings: Eighth Doctor/Charley Pollard
Warnings/Notes: none
Reasons for reccing: Also for the "Accidental Marriage" square. Eight and Charley were made for this trope, with their spectacularly ambiguous will-they-won't-they-are-they-aren't-they relationship, and this fic hits all the right notes, with the Doctor hilariously blasé about their accidental marriage and Charley unsure what to make of any of it. The alien planet is beautifully described, too. And the epilogue is adorable!

Creator's Summary: Seven, Ace, a mysterious alien rite, and sadly no explosions.
Characters/Pairings: Seventh Doctor & Ace McShane
Warnings/Notes: none
Reasons for reccing: If Seven and Ace meet a trope, the trope is likely to end up in flaming bits all over the place... A cute and hilarious platonic subversion of the accidental marriage trope. I especially appreciated the punchline.
