Creator's Summary: A series of ficlets about Martha and her relationship with her family.

Reasons for reccing: I kept wondering what I would put for the "Family" square of my bingo card so that I could get a full bingo line. Finally, I went specifically looking for what I most wanted to put there, but hadn't read yet: a well-written, observant and poignant fic about Martha and her relationship with her family. And I found it. It's this one.
It consists of five scenes about Martha and her various family members, before, during, and after her adventures with the Doctor. It takes what we know of Tish, Francine etc. in canon but deepens it, and feels true to life, containing insights about families in general. It also shows how Martha's relationship with her family and with herself and the world changes through her time with the Doctor, and expands some on how the events of the S3 finale affected her family. This immediate became one of my favourite Martha fics in general.

And this completes my bingo line! (I'll make my card prettier tomorrow, so far I've just added links to the squares that I filled.) I didn't end up being able to get more than this one line, because I was unwell last night and couldn't post, but that's what I get for only starting on the recs on the last week of the seasonal challenge. But it was really good to do this, especially since it got me to find lovely new fics and reread old favourites; and hopefully now that I've gotten started, I'll keep on posting recs here more often.
