Reasons for reccing: Such a great scene. While I'm unclear on the identity of the monster - is it supposed to be a Pyrovile, as the title of the piece suggests? or is it some kind of Borderlands lava monster, given the summary? - I don't think it really matters. Twelve goes back to the episode his face came from - which we don't see here! - and I just love him in this: the calm stance, the way he's illuminated by the glow of the lava, and that he's got his guitar with him.

Reasons for reccing: Fascinating portrait! The angel comes across as genuinely creepy and menacing here, looking up from his sorrowful posture and frozen by the look of the observer. Love the reflection in the water and the possibility of danger in it - can the angel freeze itself by accidentally looking into the mirror of the surface?
