A Doctor Who Reccing Community

I’ve read a couple of brilliant fics recently that perfectly fit for the “Reunion” square on my Bingo card.

Title: those quiet hours turned to years

Creator's Summary: the Doctor's been alive for over 2000 years, so of course Yaz doesn't expect to be the only person she's ever loved. Of course not.
Characters/Pairing: Thirteenth Doctor/Yasmin Khan, Thirteenth Doctor, Yasmin Khan, Rose Tyler,
Warnings/Notes: Past Tenth Doctor/Rose Tyler

Reasons for reccing: This is a really lovely fic that has Thirteen meet Rose again. It offers some lovely closure between the pair and I really enjoyed the interactions between Rose and Yaz. The author does a great job of “ageing” Rose and the Rose we see is one that has lived on this parallel world with Tentoo for several years and she has grown and changed. This is really evident is her interactions with the Doctor and especially Yaz, as she remembers what it was like to be Yaz. It’s a really lovely Thasmin fic that acknowledges the history between the Doctor and Rose in a really fulfilling and satisfying way.

Title: More Spoilers

Creator's Summary: “And I think you… you’re older than I’ve ever seen you,” the Doctor dares to guess in a quiet voice as she looks into River's eyes. She swallows. “Am I right?”

Warnings/Notes: Technically a sequel to “Winking at Strangers” but you don’t have to read that to understand this fic. Also some light smut in this fic

Reasons for reccing: This is just a really sweet and fluffy fic about Thirteen meeting her wife once again. It’s also one that made me feel so overjoyed and excited to see the word “Spoilers” again in the context of this ship. The author does a great job of portraying Thirteen’s emotions and evoking them in a way so that the reader feels them too.

Title: Conversations with Friends

Creator's Summary: The Doctor accidentally ends up visiting an old friend.
Characters/Pairing: Thirteenth Doctor & Martha Jones

Reasons for reccing: This is a really lovely fic that has the Thirteenth Doctor meet an old companion of hers. It’s lovely to see Thirteen here meet up with her old companions, especially Martha because Ten didn’t treat her the best and Thirteen is able to apologize and offer some closure between the two of them.
