Eight runs into Liz and they both get a chance to discuss past trauma and lost friends - it's a thoughtful, excellently done vignette for the two of them - they make a great combination.

It's such a perfectly done and moving little character moment between the two - definitely one of those fics that I've packed away in my mind into being absolutely canon.
