The First Doctor era of Doctor Who is an easy place for me to start because I know it like the back of my hand and it's uncomplicated to edit - I'll definitely be attempting more intensive edits in the future, but I'm very happy to start here with something I love so much. I've wished a video to this song existed for a long time and it's exciting to actually get to see it now that I've done it! Hope you enjoy :)

Reasons for reccing: YT dropped this into my feed and I was instantly charmed - it's a really sweet and heart-warming whole era vid for the First Doctor. It's very well done, the song choice works beautifully and the found family celebratory vibe is threaded with the minor note of One's losses. I've not come across anything like this ensemble tribute for this era before, or certainly not so well done, and I've already watched it about six times.

Reasons for reccing: For Rec Bingo. Box- Isolation/Negative Space.

So initially I wasn't sure what exactly this box entailed (had to look up a definition for Negative space to check), but I thought about this fic. This is weird and atmospheric, and given the premise makes the reader actually wonder what's going on. And love the mention of Steven's nightmares still being having to be alone for eternity , which given his introduction makes a lot of sense.

Reasons for reccing: It's an interesting story of Clyde ending up in 1973 and what he does there. And an interesting romance between him and Dodo. And it's a story of Dodo and how she's dealing with her time with the Doctor. I really like that this fic gives Dodo a more better ending than we got on screen. And I like the romance between Dodo and Clyde - the pairing seems so unlikely on paper, but is completely believable in this fic. The writing just also really holds your attention - there's very little dialogue, but you don't notice.
