Reasons for reccing: This is a really interesting meeting between Ian and Barbara's son, John (from some of the novels) and the Tenth Doctor. With a whole lot of assumptions from John based on his parents' stories. I really like how they interact and how John views the TARDIS. And how the TARDIS communicates with the Doctor.

Reasons for reccing: It's a really interesting remix of the fic above, with the TARDIS's POV (and an interesting take on how the TARDIS translates), events mentioned in the orignal, and a connection between John and Tegan.

Reasons for reccing: Aliens made us do it is my second favourite trope. My favourite is subverting/changing it in some way. I've re-read this fic many times because I really love it. It's interesting to see how Barbara and Ian deal with the situation they're in and their feelings about it. And the ending, which reveals what might be really going on makes the whole thing much more fun.
