Title: Sailing On
Creator: [personal profile] newmoonstar | Meadowlark (at Teaspoon)
Rating: All Ages
Word Count/Length/Size: 1242 words
Creator's Summary: Though they come from different worlds, Vicki and Troilus find common ground to build their life on.
Characters/Pairings: Vicki Pallister/Troilus
Warnings/Notes: None.

Reasons for reccing: For the year 1965, in which Vicki started and ended her TARDIS travels. This is such a beautiful, bittersweet look at Vicki and Vicki/Troilus, after The Myth Makers, exploring both her past in the future and her future in the past in a way that's very true to her character and voice and a lovely extra glimpse of her.

Title: The Universe & You
Creator: [personal profile] newmoonstar (Meadowlark)
Rating: All ages
Word Count/Length/Size: 13 tracks
Creator's Summary: I'd been interpreting these prompts strictly as "I'm going to write a fic in each of these genres", but I got really stumped on this one, until I realized I could interpret it a little more liberally, like filling it with a type of fanwork that doesn't have a plot: so instead of fic, here's a fanmix!
Characters/Pairings: Ian Chesterton/Barbara Wright
Warnings/Notes: None.

Reasons for reccing: Going back to the original team TARDIS for the day (and counting for the seasonal challenge on several fronts), here's a lovely fanmix, with 13 songs charting Ian and Barbara's story across their time on the show, with excerpts and excellenlt plausible cover art. Take a trip back in time to 1963, in song!

Title: An Unearthly Child - Jane Austen Style!
Creator: Meadowlark (newmoonstar)
Rating: All ages
Word Count/Length/Size: 2779
Creator's Summary: Ever wondered what it would have been like if Jane Austen had written for Doctor Who? Possibly it would have been something like this - here's the very first episode, re-written in the style of a Jane Austen novel.
Characters/Pairings: Ian Chesterton/Barbara Wright, Susan Foreman, First Doctor
Warnings/Notes: None.

Reasons for reccing: It does what it says on the tin, and very well indeed. All the canon details are neatly translated into the new setting, as governess Barbara Wright's latest position proves to be a very curious one indeed. What could be the answer to the riddle of her young charge and her reclusive grandfather?
