Reasons for reccing: I am counting this as a trope for the monthly theme, because this contains all the Ace Nitro 9 and the Doctor's opinions on it tropes that you see a lot in fic. Which is not to say it's a bad thing, it's a trope I enjoy. This fic neatly encapsulates it all into few words. Along with the TARDIS never lands where it's supposed to trope, which is enjoyed by the TV series just as much as it is in fic. It makes for a good back and forth between the Doctor and Ace as they defend their piloting/Nitro 9 timer setting.
