Recs can be posted to this community at any time, so if you've stumbled over something great, no need to wait to rec it! In addition, however, we have monthly themes and seasonal challenges. Our March theme is now officially closed, and our theme for April is:
The Brigadier // Crack
"I am Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart. Surrender now and we can avoid bloodshed." (Battlefield) This month belong's to the chap who had the honour and misfortune to be the Doctor's boss rather than his companion. Rec any works relating to Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart and his family. You can also rec things featuring any other brigadiers who appear in the series, even if their moustaches are not as truly brigly as the genuine article. It's also the month for crack - crack played straight, straight up crack, cracks in the universe etc. etc. Or, as ever, you can risk the Brig's displeasure and rec works combining both.
Post your recs to the community in the normal way any time from now until midnight on 30th April 2020 in your timezone. (See
Info & Guidelines for posting template and instructions). Recs posted for monthly themes have their own tag with banners at the end of the year for reccers who posted something for at least six out of the twelve themes over the year.
When making your post,
add the tag "other: monthly theme". (The mods will take care of any other needed tags, as usual, but which challenge/theme a rec is for could easily be missed.)
