New Seasonal Challenge: Alphabet Soup

tardis_libraryOur Claim a Character Challenge is now over (banners to follow shortly), and here's tardis_library's latest Seasonal Challenge:
Alphabet Soup
This one's pretty simple - post 5-26 fanwork recs for consecutive letters of the alphabet to complete the challenge and receive a banner. The alphabetical aspect may refer to title, creator, or character(s) featured in the fanwork. Five letters (recs) is the minimum to achieve the challenge - you can aim for more than that or attempt the whole alphabet!
The letters can be any sequence of letters, as long as it's consecutive (ABCDE, XYZAB, LMNOP etc.). You can choose to challenge yourself further by using only one of the categories (so work alphabetically through titles/authors/characters only). With titles, alphabetise by the first proper word - so A/An/The don't count.
You can also post recs in batches (with a cut for more than two recs per post).
The challenge is open from now until midnight in your timezone on Monday 22nd June 2020.
No sign-ups needed.

Date: 2020-03-19 07:03 pm (UTC)1. Do the recs have to be consecutive as well? Or can I do C-B-E-D-F for example?
2. If titles start with The/A/etc, does that count or do I go for the first noun/verb/etc?

Date: 2020-03-19 08:16 pm (UTC)1. I think try for consecutive, but, let's be honest, when I do the reckoning at the end, I'm not going to notice!
2. Titles would be by the first word proper, not The/A. (Creators and characters with two or more names may be by any of the names you choose.)
ETA: I was thinking about this, and I think actually it's fine if the recs aren't consecutive, but even if you get to five recs, but actually have wound up with ACDEF, the challenge will be incomplete! XD
