Reccer's bingo!
Sign up for a bingo card, rec 1-5 works per square till you achieve a bingo.
The challenge is open from now until midnight in your timezone on 31st August 2018.
How it works:
1. Sign up for your card here. The prompt list is below, and you can ask for up to 4 prompts to be excluded if you wish. (But don't worry too much - the prompts are there to be interpreted freely.) For the Wild Card square, you may choose any other prompt from the list.
2. Post your rec(s) for each square in the same post to this community. (1-5 recs per individual prompt max.; post together whether 1 rec or 5.) Don't wait to complete your bingo, or post recs/rec lists to your own journal. If you have 3+ recs in one post, please use a cut to save people's reading lists.
Tag each post with "other: seasonal challenge."

3. Continue to post fills until you have achieved a bingo - usually five squares in a row in any direction, but any recognised bingo comprising 5+ squares is fine, up to and including a Blackout (filling all the squares on your card). (hc_bingo's guidelines on how to achieve a bingo are pretty comprehensive about bingo types if you want to check out all the possible variations you could use.)
4. Once you have completed your bingo reply to your original claim on this post, linking to your 5+ bingo posts. You will receive a banner.
You may then bask in your achievement, claim a new card, or use your original card for extras (again, see thehc_bingo links for typical examples - e.g. combining squares etc.) Extras should be treated in the same way as the original bingo squares, with each fill/rec/rec set being posted to the comm as one post.

Card for nonelvis
Date: 2018-05-01 09:17 pm (UTC)Both aiming for a specific bingo or taking a more scattergunned approach is fine - whatever suits you! That point is only there because in most fannish bingos you wait till you've completed the bingo before posting with everything collected (as links) in one post, so I wanted to make that difference clear for people who are used to doing bingos - so no need for you to worry!
Basically, you find 1-5 recs per square and post it/them in one post here whenever you're ready (and just let me know back at this post when you've actually completed the bingo). I hope that makes sense?
in the meantime, here is a card and just let me know if you have any problems with it:

Date: 2018-05-02 07:31 am (UTC)LOl, well, you can't rec yourself, but it might help others with the same square! (But interpret as widely as you like: a noodle incident fic, a fic elaborating a canon noodle incident, or actual noodles involved in an incident.
... It's not the easiest thing to search for, though. I'm a bit evil, but I will be giving myself a square.)
