October Theme + Request Post

Recs can be posted to this community at any time, so if you've stumbled over something great, no need to wait to rec it! In addition, however, we have monthly themes and seasonal challenges. Our September theme is now officially closed, and our theme for October is:
Fourth Doctor // Things That Go Bump In The Night
"Here on Zeta Minor is the boundary between existence as you know it and the other universe which you just don't understand. From the beginning of time it has existed side by side with the known universe. Each is the antithesis of the other. You call it "nothing", a word to cover ignorance. And centuries ago scientists invented another word for it. "Antimatter", they called it. And you, by coming here, have crossed the boundary into that other universe to plunder it." (Planet of Evil)
For October, it's time for the return of the Fourth Doctor and any fanworks you love centering on anybody or anything from his era. You can also rec things for the theme of "Things That Go Bump In The Night" - whether eerie settings, monsters on the loose, fear of the dark, broken nights, or any other take on the phrase, including the obvious innuendoes. Or, as ever, rec fanworks that feature both, for if there was ever an era of the show that loved its gothic creepy tropes, it's the Fourth Doctor's.
Post your recs to the community in the normal way any time from now until midnight on 30th September 2020 in your timezone. (See Info & Guidelines for posting template and instructions). Recs posted for monthly themes have their own tag with banners at the end of the year for reccers who posted something for at least six out of the twelve themes over the year.
When making your post, add the tag "other: monthly theme". (The mods will take care of any other needed tags, as usual, but which challenge/theme a rec is for could easily be missed.)
Our new Seasonal Challenge is Rare Pairings, which is open until 20 December 2020!

In addition, anyone may make requests for any recs they want. (e.g. "Fourth Doctor fic, not on Teaspoon," "Cheerful Bill Potts artwork," "Leela vid," "recent Ten/Rose," etc. etc.,) If you are only interested in one medium, don't forget to specify that in your request.
