April Theme + Request Post

thisbluespiritRecs can be posted to this community at any time, so if you've seen something great, just post! In addition, however, we have monthly themes and seasonal challenges. Our March theme is now officially closed, and here is our theme for April:
Ninth Doctor // Short
"So this is what you should do: let the TARDIS die. Just let this old box gather dust. No one can open it. No one will even notice it. Let it become a strange little thing standing on a street corner. And over the years, the world will move on and the box will be buried. And if you wanna remember me, then you can do one thing, that's all, one thing... Have a fantastic life."
For this month's theme, rec works featuring anyone or anything from the Ninth Doctor's era OR rec short works - drabbles, ficlets, vidlets, sketches, icons/icon sets or whatever other tiny gems you can find. Or, of course, you can combine both themes.
Post your recs to the community in the normal way any time from now until midnight on 30 April 2019 in your timezone. (See Info & Guidelines for posting template and instructions). Recs posted for monthly themes have their own tag with banners every six months for reccers who posted something for every theme in that time.
When making your post, make sure you add the tag "other: monthly theme". (The mods will take care of any other needed tags, as usual, but which challenge/theme a rec is for could easily be missed.)
The current Seasonal Challenge is a Manifesto round and is open for signs ups and posting till 11th June 2019.

In addition, anyone may make requests for any recs they are keen to see. (e.g. "Fourth Doctor fic, not on Teaspoon," "Cheerful Bill Potts artwork," "Leela vid," "recent Ten/Rose," etc. etc.,) If you are only interested in one medium, don't forget to specify fic/art/vid/mix/icons/podfic etc. in your request.
Current requests:
* Second Doctor era gen fic, any character(s), any genre (auroracloud)
* Two/Jamie and Zoe/Isobel fic not on Teaspoon or AO3 (auroracloud)
* Classic Who fanvids, any Doctor/TARDIS team (music, no/minimal audio quotes preferred), especially out there on tumblr/YT (thisbluespirit)
* Twelfth Doctor h/c that's not on AO3 (any pairing or gen) (ruuger)
* Rose/Nine fic, any genre, anywhere (anon)
Simply make your requests in the comments here to be added to the list. (Anon commenting is on.) If you make a rec that fills any of these requests, please add the "other: request" tag to your entry so it can be found easily.)
