New Seasonal Challenge: Manifesto!

Manifesto Challenge
Manifestos can be for an era or spin-off, character, or pairing. Sign up in the comments and produce a manifesto for your chosen subject with between 2-15 recs.
What is a manifesto, you might ask? Manifestos (or primers/promos/overviews) are a way to introduce others to a canon or canon element that you love. Don't be scared off by the name! A basic manifesto will include some blurb on what you like about your chosen canon thing, what people might expect to find in it, or might attract them to it. You can include pictures, gifs, links to related resources, communities, tumblrs, video clips, or keep it simple and text only as you please.
So what your manifesto will include is up to you! You do need to keep it to one post, though, so if you hit the Dreamwidth posting limit, you've definitely gone too far.
Manifestos are generally positive, like recs, so if you choose a spin-off, or era, try and represent all characters and popular fandom or canon pairings fairly evenly in your general blurb and in your recs, if you can (though you don't need to include recs for everything). It's fine, of course, to make it clear what your own preferences are - just no bashing etc.
If you'd like to see some examples for inspiration, het_reccers used to have regular challenges and has a masterlist of (character, fandom & pairing) manifestos you can browse through. You can also check out the archive atship_manifesto, or any other manifesto comm still around.
As we are a reccing community, you do need to include recs as well as the general blurb, and, unlike our other seasonal challenges, they all go in one post!
As the manifesto itself can take some work or may cover a rare element of canon that you want to entice more fans into, the required no of recs for completing this challenge is 2, although you may include up to 15 in total in your manifesto. (The posting template below has the coding for 5, so just delete or c+p as suits your needs.)
How It Works
1. Claim your chosen challenge here. For this challenge only one person can claim any given topic, so it will be first come, first served! (However, it's fine for someone to claim a pairing or character from a spin-off or era that has already been chosen.)
In the comment claim a spin-off, era, character or pairing + a date from 13th March-11th June. (If you need an extension, comment back here to ask. This is just to try and make sure we stagger the manifestos across the period.)
2. When ready, post your manifesto on your selected date, using the coding below:
The challenge ends on Tuesday 11th June 2019.
Don't forget to tag your posts with "other: seasonal challenge" so they don't get missed.
