Our theme for May is now closed - here is our new theme for June:

Other Doctors // Something New

"Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue."

This month's theme is for Doctors other than those usually counted as 1-13. So if you want to celebrate the War Doctor, or the Fugitive Doctor, any of canon's AU or extra Doctors, as well as fan created future Doctors and the like, now's your chance! Plus, you can also rec any works that fit the theme of "something new" - and, of course, if you're already in love with fanworks speculating about Fourteen, that's one way to rec for both themes at once.

Post your recs to the community in the normal way any time from now until midnight on 30th June 2022 in your timezone. (See Info & Guidelines for posting template and instructions). Recs posted for monthly themes have their own tag with banners at the end of the year for reccers who posted something for at least six out of the twelve themes over the year.

When making your post, add the tag "other: monthly theme". (The mods will take care of any other needed tags, as usual, but which challenge/theme a rec is for could easily be missed.)

Our current Seasonal Challenge is Reccer's Bingo, which is still open until 25th September 2022 for claims and posting! (The next challenge will be our annual bingo, so be prepared!!)

I’d like to rec a podcast, The Game of Rassilon, that’s (basically) The Adventure Zone but it’s Doctor Who instead of Dungeons & Dragons. I’m assuming that I should list all the main actors/players as the creators. However, at the end of S1 one of the players left, and was replaced in the middle of S2 by a different person. Should I list both of these people as creators, or just the one who joined in S2?

I think that's up to you really, but I suppose it seems as if it would be sensible to include the S1 person if you're reccing S1/the whole thing; the S2 person only if you're primarily reccing current stuff? But really, you know the source and I don't, so it's your call ultimately.
