Creator's Summary: I’d thought RTD’s characterization of the Master was All Wrong but thinking abt it retroactively, post-Missy, it’s making a lot more sense?

Reasons for reccing: A really interesting bit of meta that discusses Simm’s interaction of the Master. The meta is a bit of a ramble and isn’t super in-depth but it brings up interesting ideas, such as the Master’s sense of self-importance and how that connects to a sort-of masculinity and how that relates Missy’s rejection of masculinity and embracement of femininity (ie. Time Lady). This is an older meta and the writer mentions how they might make a more in depth analysis of this subject, but sadly I couldn’t find it (Tumblr has a horrible search function) if it was ever written.
