Creator's Summary: In which the Doctor is an ex-chemistry teacher (recently fired), Ace might possibly be a werewolf, and they both sort out things with absolutely no explosives- which is a shock to both of them. (Survival AU)

Reasons for reccing: For the "vampires/werewolves/zombies" square on my bingo card. Kitty Eden always writes a fabulous Seven and Ace, and this is no exception, as Ace comes to the one person she trusts to help her deal with a highly improbable and frightening problem. It's both angsty and fun and so very them, despite the AU setting. Have a taster:
"You got fired because you were teaching us the proper way to create explosives?"
"It would seem so."
"You weren't doing anything wrong!" she exclaimed angrily. "You taught us the proper safety procedures and everything! You were the best teacher I ever had! They can't just kick you out like that!"
He smiled sadly at her. "It's very kind of you to say that. But I'm afraid the point is moot."
