Reasons for reccing: I’m really enjoying the Thirteenth Doctor so far, but personally I found her to be a little bit lacking in her first series and am hoping that she is given more in depth characterization in the next series. And this meta really helps flesh out Thirteen more in my mind and analyze aspects of her character that are hidden slightly under the surface which may come more to light in the next series.

Oh, that's very good. isagrimorie is infinitely more interested in the current era than I am, because there are a variety of characters (including Capaldi's Twelfth Doctor or Amos in The Expanse) to which I could apply that level of analysis, but I can't find the slightest interest at all in doing it for the Thirteenth. I don't find the writing for her to be at all engaging or even intelligent (with some very few exceptions), but yay for isagrimorie finding complexity in it. Good to have a fresh, positive voice replacing burned-out, eye-rolling old fans like me, LOL.
