Reasons for reccing: I love Brig/Liz as a pairing and it was really hard to narrow this down to one fic for the challenge, but this piece is gorgeously written with vivid voices, and simultaneously showcases how this ship works so well and why it might well never work at all in a way that feels very true to both Liz and the Brigadier.
