Because I literally just read this, went "wow, what a wonderful story, I really need to go rec this somewhere," and -- hurrah! -- not only is this comm open for business, but this fic fits the monthly challenge!

An episode tag to the Twelfth Doctor episode "The Doctor Falls," this fic tells us what happened to Missy after we last saw her. It's absolutely gorgeously written, and it fits perfectly into canon and into what we know of both Missy and Heather. Let's face it: eventually somehow, some way, the Master (hopefully Missy) will return, and while the show itself probably won't explain just how she survived, in my personal canon, it happened just like this.

As much as I loved Calufrax, it was kind of nice to be able to rec this right away instead of waiting until the next time I was signed up! Not to mention crossing my fingers that the author posts it to Teaspoon, too.

Heh, yes, especially as Teaspoon grew quieter, it felt more and more awkward to say, "And are you posting it to Teaspoon as well, NO REASON HONEST." :lol:
