Three ficlets for 1990, because I was looking for something connected to Remembrance of the Daleks and/or An Unearthly Child and ran into these three, which are all short and sweet, so here's a little bundle of 1990-related goodness:
Title: To Whatever Extent
Creator: Joan Milligan
Rating: All ages
Word Count/Length/Size: 303 words
Creator's Summary: The smallest thing, post Remembrance of the Daleks.
Characters/Pairings: Seventh Doctor
Warnings/Notes: None.
Reasons for reccing: For 1990, the year that the novelisation of Remembrance of the Daleks was published, paving the way for the New Adventures. This is a beautiful little tag for the serial, with Seven making some reflections on his behaviour that maybe illuminates his reasons for his tendency to plan and manipulate - something that would get stretched even further in the upcoming VNAs.

Title: coda (with tea)
Creator:
phantomlistener
Rating: G
Word Count/Length/Size: 820 words
Creator's Summary: Afterwards, normal life beckons. Whatever that looks like now.
Characters/Pairings: Rachel Jensen & Allison Williams
Warnings/Notes: None.
Reasons for reccing: Another Remembrance tag, this time a ficlet that is a pitch perfect capture of Allison and Rachel, exploring their reactions to their world-shifting experiences with sympathy and humour - experiences that will one day lead to a whole series of further adventures for them.

Title: Ordinary World
Creator: whispersecho
Rating: All ages
Word Count/Length/Size: 498 words (5x drabbles)
Creator's Summary: Ian and Barbara return home to find they are two years out from their own time. They have an awful lot of explaining to do, or *someone* does. Mostly First Doctor era, but other characters appear in Chapter 5.
Characters/Pairings: Ian Chesterton, Barbara Wright, Seventh Doctor, Ace McShane
Warnings/Notes: None.
Reasons for reccing: 1990 also saw the first release of An Unearthly Child onto VHS, so when I found this along with the above, tying the two together, I had to add it into this mini rec set. Ian and Barbara, finally back on earth in 1965, find that someone has already tied up some of their loose ends for them. It's great, and I'm sure it happened.
