Reasons for reccing: This is such a fun and unexpectedly sweet fic about an alternate universe where Time Lords are the universal conquerors and the Daleks are the good guys, but the Doctor's still the Doctor and wants to help in whatever way he can. I love how Eight manages to keep his compassion and optimism even in this darker AU. And Freda the Dalek is such a fun character and I would read a million different fics about her and the Doctor's adventures right now.
