Creator's Summary: John Smith wrote stories of impossible things. He never showed them to anyone for fear they would think him foolish and childish or mad. Then, one day, his impossible stories began happening. Inspired by and shamelessly filking bits from Paul Cornell's NA Human Nature.
Characters/Pairings: Seventh Doctor/Ace McShane, Bernice Summerfield
Warnings/Notes: mentor/student pairing
Reasons for reccing: Despite my strong opinions regarding the New Adventures range, Human Nature is one of my favourite Doctor Who. It's just missing one little thing, and that is Ace, who left a few books ago. It's a nice, somewhat short retelling. And yes, that's a Verity Lambert reference!
