It sounded like a woman, with a northern accent you could bounce rocks off of, made even more incomprehensible by the rapid fire delivery.
"Sorry for the short notice, Kate, but stuffs gotten complicated and incredibly weird in ways that involve a few octopus - well, I say octopus but… no, that's not important right now, I just gotta ask you, real quick -"
"I think you may have the wrong number," Jo said when there was a brief pause for breath
