Title: Save the Date
Creator:
astrogirl
Rating: Gen
Word Count/Length/Size: 1,811 words
Creator's Summary: The Brigadier has quite a few messages on his answering machine today. And all of them are from the same person. Well, more or less.
Characters/Pairings: Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart, Doris Lethbridge-Stewart, Third Doctor, Fourth Doctor, Fifth Doctor, Sixth Doctor, Seventh Doctor
Warnings/Notes: none
Reasons for reccing: The Brigadier, retired and just returned from a holiday, finds a lot of messages from the Doctor on his answering machine. This was written for the "Unsent Letters" exchange in 2022 and the concept is just great, super well executed, and so much fun to read. Lovely and hilarious.
(It is set sometime after the Seventh Doctor episode "Battlefield" - from the Brigadier's point of view, anyway! - which means it technically takes place in 1989, BUT, since that year is already covered, I'm submitting it for 1968, the year when one Alistair Lethbridge-Stewart first appeared. Also fits this month's multi-era theme!)
