Creator's Summary: The Doctor and Ace stumble into a secret auction and accidentally end up on the list of talent for hire. Next thing they know, they've been hired as an explosives expert and a psychic manipulator, and their new employer is in a great hurry to launch them into their criminal career.

Reasons for reccing: This is a very fun adventure fic, featuring a clever plot, some great hurt/comfort moments, and Seven being very scary when Ace is hurt. As per usual, the Doctor and Ace have gotten into some trouble have to work together and trust each other to get out of it. This fic explores their relationship and their trust for each other, while also incorporating a lot of fun undercover tropes. Plus an interesting exploration of the Doctor’s use of mental manipulation in particular.
