Reasons for reccing: The Ninth Doctor, after the Time War, a bit lost and dark, ends up on DS9. The crew there helps him find himself again - particularly Dax, who knows a bit about being centuries old, having dark corners in yourself, and leaving things behind. But also Bashir and O'Brien at the end, by being very young in comparison and drawing the Doctor in because he can't resist showing off sometimes.
