Reasons for reccing: Graham puts together a survival kit list for future companions. This is one of my favourite fics for the current DW era, with a lovely concept behind it. It captures Graham's voice beautifully: his practicality, his melancholy moments and his thoughts of Grace, his humour, his heart, and his life experience. A touching and fun story with poignant and fitting references to previous companions, be it Nardole or Jo or Martha or Rory.

Reasons for reccing: Because it's a fun story. It's got Ian and Barbara on a field trip with eleven year olds, encountering an alien. And the Sixth Doctor at his pompous best being as accurate as usual with the TARDIS piloting. It's got Peri trying to deal with him. And eleven year olds who annoy Sixie and and have characters of their own, who come out in the fic, despite having few (or no) lines. And it has plenty of great lines.
