Reasons for reccing: It's a gorgeous coda for Hide, looking at Alec Palmer and Emma Grayling and what they did next (have tea, of course). I woudl happily have watched a whole spin-off series about their supernatural adventures and awkward shippiness, and while that didn't happen, this (and seren_ccd's other pre-canon fic for them) is lovely enough to help compensate for that lack. (The other is here and it's also great.)
