Title: Bright Star
Creator:
eponymous_rose
Rating: Teen
Word Count/Length/Size: 7572 words
Creator's Summary: Marshellian Paston's Fifteenth Theorem of Time Travel states that any two persons travelling through time are slightly more likely to meet from a probabilistic standpoint, within a margin of error described by a hypercube with complex dimensions; Ian, Barbara and Sarah Jane Smith give Marshellian Paston something to write home about.
Characters/Pairings: Ian Chesterton/Barbara Wright, Sarah Jane Smith, Susan Foreman, First Doctor, Third Doctor, Harry Sullivan, Luke Smith
Warnings/Notes: None
Reasons for reccing: It's a companions meeting story with a twist. Because it's in reverse order it makes it interesting as Sarah knows more about Ian and Barbara to start with and later Ian and Barbara know more about Sarah. It involves exactly the sort of adventures you expect from people travelling with the Doctor. And it's just beautifully written. Everyone's perfectly in character and there's some lovely description to set the tone.
