Always wondered about that, actually. Makes sense, in hindsight.” She pointed to herself and shrugged sheepishly. “Totally different species!”
Horrified realization dawned on the Master. “You mean,” he said in disbelief, “all these years…and I’ve been doing the wrong mating dance?!”

Reasons for reccing: So I didn't think anything much about the finale would make me smile again in a hurry (sorry) but apparently the right bit of crack fic is always welcome. This is hugely entertaining and very them, crack notwithstanding. The revelations of the finale enable the Master and the Doctor to negotiate some of the obstacles between them at last. (By a cunning coincidence, it also fits the monthly theme here.)
