Rec: Journey's Dawn by Ameretrifle

Title: Journey's Dawn
Creator: [livejournal.com profile] ameretrifle
Rating: PG13
Word Count/Length/Size: Not known
Creator's Summary: Post-Journey's End. Turns out, he's not the only road. Apples, new friends, and family traditions.
Characters/Pairings: Donna Noble, Wilf, 10th Doctor
Warnings/Notes: Crossover, occasional dirty language, shameful anti-Ten propaganda (depending on how liberal your definition of 'propaganda' is)

Reasons for reccing: A brilliant Doctor Who / Young Wizards crossover which has as far as I know only been posted to the Livejournal Young Wizards community [livejournal.com profile] myriadwords. It takes a look at the Tenth Doctor's treatment of Donna in the context of the Young Wizards version of magic and the universe, and comes up with some uncomfortable answers.

The link below is to the LAST part of the story, which has links to all of the previous instalments.

If you don't know the crossover (which incidentally has an appearance by an unnamed person who is fairly obviously The Doctor in one of the earlier books) see Wikipedia for a summary:

JUst a head's up that the body of your post seems to be missing the title and the rating of the work. (I've added in the new tags needed - just let me know if I ever miss anything!)

Strange things happen sometimes! As to the rating, when I clicked on the link it was right there in the header - my first thought as to lack of a rating was that it might not have had one, especially given it was an LJ entry, but it seems to be marked as PG-13:

Title: Journey's Dawn (10/10)
Author: ameretrifle
Pairing: None
Rating: PG-13

(ETA: And the rating for your most recent rec is there on the author page, along with the wordcount & summary - "All ages".)

Speaking as a person who frequently pushes doors marked pull in big letters, it's always only too easily done! ;-)
