I know I'm a distinct minority (not shipping Dr/companion), so as long as people are happy, that's what matters. :)

But in this one, the characterizations and the team interactions won me over long before the properly shippy stuff happened, so I dared to rec it even for those who don't ship it but enjoy this team. :-)
This exactly. I had sort of forgotten that fic exists? Not literally, but I hardly read any Twelve fic (the show was so rich & complex that I didn't want anything else to intrude), but for Thirteen I think fic might be the answer. So thank you!
