Reasons for reccing: The editing in this vid is absolutely phenomenal and the vidder does a great job at capturing the Doctor and Rose’s relationship. I really love how this vid seamlessly transitions between the angsty and tragic moments of their relationship to the ones filled with joy and hope and then back again. Their relationship is one of goodbyes and loss (Nine’s death and TenRose’s separation)but it’s also about hellos and renewals (Ten’s regeneration and Tentoo’s birth). It’s just a fantastic tribute to the dynamic of these characters and it’s also a bit of an unusual rec for me. I tend to like vids that have a lot of heavy dialogue, but this vid mostly lets the music and editing carry it with only a couple lines of dialogue (one in the middle and one towards the end). I don’t tend to go for those vids, but this one used that “silence” greatly to its benefit and its incredibly remarkable.
